This Privacy Policy explains what information RiyalRate.com (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects when you visit our website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you choose to give us
- Rate reports. When you use “Update new rate”, we record the remittance center name, the destination country, the rate you entered, and the time of submission. We do not ask for your name or contact details for this.
- Contact form messages. If you write to us, we receive the name, email address and message you provide, so that we can read and reply to it.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider and the services we use may automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page and the pages you visit. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and understand how it is used.
2. How we use information
- To display and keep remittance rates up to date, and to review user-submitted rates.
- To respond to your questions, suggestions and corrections.
- To maintain, secure and improve the website and prevent spam or abuse.
- To show advertising, where enabled (see section 4).
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Services we use
To operate the site we rely on third-party services that may process limited information on our behalf:
- Web hosting (Hostinger) to serve the website.
- Google Sheets and Google Apps Script to store and display remittance rates and to record rate reports.
- Web3Forms to deliver messages sent through our contact form to our email inbox.
- Google Fonts to load the typefaces used on the site; your browser requests the font files directly from Google.
- Analytics tools (such as Google Analytics), if and when we enable them, to understand traffic in aggregate.
4. Advertising and cookies
We may display advertisements on RiyalRate.com, including ads served by Google AdSense. Where advertising is enabled, the following applies:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.

We keep rate reports for as long as they are useful for maintaining accurate rates, and we keep contact messages only as long as needed to respond to them and handle follow-up. We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it, by contacting us through the Contact page. We aim to handle personal data in line with the laws that apply to us, including, where relevant, Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law.
7. Children’s privacy
RiyalRate.com is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.
8. Links to other websites
The site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
